Stir Crazy

     I have been hanging out in my hotel room for the past few days, due to two reasons.  First, The observations of Eid and Ramadan during the past and current week have resulted in the closing of many sights.  Second, the funds are a little tight.  I will not be getting paid until the last day in September, which is quite far away.  My employer does do a cash advance; however, the banks and their office is also closed (until Wednesday).  So, I have been enjoying the hotel amenities and peanut butter sandwiches (for dinner). 


I am gld that my hotel room is spacious!

     It is frustrating at times.  I have this great place to stay in for free and could be out and about touring this glamorous city.  Instead the free sights are closed and the malls have crazy hours (8 pm to 2 am).  So I have made the best of it. 
     I have been out by the pool and walk to the mall.  I have even caught up on a lot of great books, that I hadn't found the time to read.  Divergent, by Veronica Roth is a wonderful book, that I just can't put down.  Although, I think that it may be giving me nightmares. 
     With all of the time I have had on hand, I have been able to review my current situation and life in general.  The conclusion:  It has been a wonderful life.
